 20150912_140239  Horseshoes and nails owned by William Green, Little Heart’s Ease. These items belonged to our house Bonnie. Dad got the horse in late 1950s and it served our family in retrieving wood and plowing the fields until the later 1970s.

 20150620_10091720150620_100926 This vintage horse collar was worn by Jerry, a Newfoundland pony, in the early 50s. The pony was owned by Clayton Smith of Long Beach. Clayton’s father, Samuel Smith (1909-1967), purchased the horse from his brother, Robert (Bob) Smith (1906-1972) of Little Heart’s Ease. Now owned by Garland Jennings.
 DSCN4206 Last set of horseshoes made for Jerry, the Newfoundland pony owned by Clayton Smith of Long Beach. These horseshoes were made in St. John’s. Jerry never wore them. The shoes are owned by Clayton Smith.
