Predeceased by her parents Walter George and Marjorie Irene Bursey, her husband Chesley Avery and brother Daniel Bursey. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Shelly Littlejohn (Norman) of Coley’s Point, Susette Peddle (Tracy) of Clarenville; grandchildren Ryan and Nathan Littlejohn, Braeden Peddle; sisters Betty Frost (Howard) of Nova Scotia, Bonnie Mittle (James) of Michigan, USA, Wanda Bursey (Jack) of Ontario; brothers Winston (Liz) of Bay Roberts, Randy (Monica), Allan (Louise Deceased), Bruce (Betty) all of Ontario and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by first wife Roma; father and mother George and Elizabeth Bailey; sister Geneva Norris; brother-in-law Rev. Edward Bailey. GREEN, Wilfred James – Passed peacefully away at Central Health Care GFW on Wednesday, March 29 2017, Wilfred James Green of Deep Bight age 92. Predeceased by son Roy, parents Newman and Maggie, brother Max, and sisters Marguerite and Blanche. Leaving to mourn his wife Florence, daughter Hazel (Dave) and grandson Trevor (Rochelle), other relatives and friends. Rested at Trinity United Church, Deep Bight. Funeral service was held from Trinity United Church Deep Bight on Sunday, April 2, 2017 with interment at Deep Bight Cemetery.

HISCOCK, Archibald – (December 26, 1935 – March 2, 2017) – Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Health Care, Bonavista on March 2, 2017, Archibald Hiscock, age 81, from Little Hearts Ease. Predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Lucy; parents, Robert and Sarah Hiscock; brothers, Hayward and Harrison Hiscock and sister, Alice Drodge. Leaving to mourn, daughter, Tammy (Clarke Drover); son, Brian Hiscock (Geraldine) ; sister, Mariah Jacobs; granddaughters, Dana (Andy), Dawn (Chris) and Brittney (Glen); great grandchildren, Brianna, Lennox and Emily and nephew and nieces. A cremation has taken place. Funeral service , officiated by Geraldine Fifield, assisted by Raymond Whalen, took place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Little Hearts Ease, on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at  2 pm.

Interment will take place at a later date.

Left with fond and loving memories her children David (Cora), Victor (Margaret), Ivy (Eddie), Austin, Byron (Mary), Juanita Jeanetta, Sheila (Allister) and Kevin (Michelle); 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother George Green; brother-in-law Alonzo Smith; sisters-in-law Shirley Green and Letta Green; her church family; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville with interment to follow at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville. Predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Sarah Jane Lambert; brothers Wesley and Nelson. Allison was the type of gentle soul who would lead a spider to the door rather than, as she put it, “take its life.” Allison had a special way to connect with people through her warm personality, gentle smile and unique sense of humour. She could be quiet in a crowd – but the life of the party with her friends or family. An old soul, she loved reading the classics, watching quirky movies and finding ways to connect to nature. She touched many lives, probably more than she ever realized. Allison was a true joy to her family and wide group of friends. She had a heart of gold that she loved to let shine. Allison will be deeply missed by many and she will be forever loved. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped and supported us in so many ways. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Clarenville SPCA in honour of Allison. Everyone is invited to join us in honouring Allison at Fewer’s Funeral Home (299 Memorial Drive) in Clarenville on September 10 from 6-9 pm and September 11 from 2-6 pm. We would like to invite young people to come anytime – but a special time is set aside at 6pm on September 11 for you to celebrate Allison. A ceremony will be held at 2 pm on September 12 at the Memorial United Church (Marine Drive) in Clarenville.
