Poor

Used as a sign of respect.

Residents of Winterton, Trinity Bay use the word poor when speaking of someone who is dead. For example:

Poor Aunt Mary loved berry pickin’.

This does not mean that the person spoken of was actually port, it merely shows respect for that person. Usually the term is used when referring to a deceased person.
