Thank you to all who have contributed to our Southwest Arm War Memorial Fund during the month of April. We are getting close to achieving our goal to erect the war monument that will honour all who have served from the Southwest Arm area.
We are proud to announce that the names of women from the Southwest Arm area who served during WWI and WWII will be added to the war memorial.
As one of several members of the War Memorial Committee, I am proud of the way individuals from the Southwest Arm area and beyond have come together to make this a reality. I know that all veterans will be smiling on the day that the monument is unveiled for public viewing.
