Unveiling of Storyboard

The ceremony will feature The Peddle Sisters performing the song Ghost Out In The Fog by Bob Porter. They will also sing O Canada and Ode to Newfoundland.

The storyboard was sponsored by the Southwest Arm Historical Society and the family of the late Eldred and Mae Drodge. Eldred and Mae operated a general store and were merchants for salt and fresh fish.

 
 
 
 
 
 
Update on the Ceremony
 
Those planning on attending the ceremony at Little Heart’s Ease on Wednesday, August 04 at 2:00 pm., please park your vehicle responsibly and carpool if possible.
 
For those of you who are medically fit, please park your vehicle on top of the hill. Parking will be reserved on the wharf for seniors/others who may have problems medical issues walking.
 
The section on the map divided by the red line will be reserved for individuals only. Please do not attempt to park a vehicle past this point.
 
For fisherpersons, please be patient with us as we unveil a small piece of history. The ceremony should take about an hour.
