NEW SCOUT TROOP, HODGE’S COVE
A new Scout group is to be inaugurated at Hodge’s Cove, a small settlement on the coast of Trinity Bay. This Scout organization will be directed by Mr. S. Drover, a fine youth thinking citizen of this community.

Thirty Four Students Win Confederation Bursaries
The Department of Education released the names of thirty four students who have been rewarded Confederation Bursary scholarships. The names released by the Hon. Dr. G. A. Frecter are of our of town pupils, and are as follows;
