Married 

The Salvation Army Citadel, Sydney, during the past week was the scene of the wedding of Alice Maude, daughter of Mr. Seward and the late Mrs. Richard Seward, Clarenville, Nfld., and Henry Arthur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Chipman, Sydney. The marriage ceremony was performed by Major H.G. Roberts. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. John Chipman. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Chipman will reside in Sydney.

Son of the late Eli and Annie Loder. Hillview, T.B., and nephew of Mrs. Wm. John Loder, City. Nelson went overseas with the Nfld. Forestry Unit in January, but has since joined the Royal Navy and is now serving somewhere at sea. He has a brother, George, serving with the Royal Artillery in England.
