Mary Frost’s Store
 |
This store was owned by Mary (Baker) Frost (1915-2006). Her first store across the road. It was small so she had this larger store built. She carried mostly groceries but had a small supply of dry goods. The store grew and survived after 50 years serving clients. In 1982, Mrs. Frost retired and her daughter, Jeanette (Frost) Martin, took over. Jeanette managed the same store for another 10 years or more before closing.Picture of Mary Frost’s store courtesy Melvina Eddy. |
