10th: Pot Luck Supper and Square Dance at the Lion’s Club, Hodge’s Cove hosted by SWA Historical Society and SWA 50+ Club. Supper at 5:30 p.m. and square dancing at 7:00 p.m.
12th: Butter Cove Day – storyboard unveiling at 2:00 p.m.
16th: Afternoon Tea hosted by SWA 50+ Club at 1 p.m. at the Lion’s Club, Hodge’s Cove
19th: Don & Willie Garden Party, Little Heart’s Ease – Event Cancelled
19th: St. Jones Within Derby Day
20th: Cemetery Flower Services – Gooseberry Cove Anglican at 2 p.m. and Little Heart’s Ease Anglican at 3 p.m.
26th: Summer Fair, Hodge’s Cove
27th: Random Trails Hike n’ Cafe. Hike the new West Random Hike hiking Trail – meet at 10:30 at the parking lot behind the Anglican Church in Gooseberry Cove. Pop up Cafe is from 1 – 5 p.m. in Southport.
August
2nd: Avery’s Annual Cookout at 3:00 p.m.
9th: Raise the Roof, Gooseberry Cove
10th: Long Beach Cod Fishing Derby – judging at 10:30 a.m.
13th: Hike and lunch at Abraham’s Trail hosted by SWA 50+ Club, Little Heart’s Ease
