The Southwest Arm Historical Society will be hosting a Heritage Day on June 27th at the Lions Club, Hodge’s Cove.
If you have artifacts, documents, pictures, etc that you wish to display please contact a member of the Board or e-mail us at info@swahsociety.com . Share your heritage with others. Book your space early so you won’t be disappointed!
Bring your old pictures and we will scan them onsite and return them to you within minutes. We will post these photos on our website for all to enjoy.
If you don’t have items to display, no problem. Come along and view the items in the afternoon and learn more about them from the owners.
In the evening we will be holding an ‘old-time’ square dance. Sounds like fun!
Timeline for our Heritage Day:
9:00 a.m. – 12 noon – Set up of displays for the afternoon’s Open House. If you have artifacts, old pictures, etc. that you wish to display please contact Eric Stringer or email info@swahsociety.com
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Come and view the artifacts, photos, documents, etc. that are on display. Free Admission.
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Bring your old pictures and we will scan them and return them to you within minutes. Free
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Join us for soup and sandwiches. Cost: $5.00 each
7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – An old-time square dance – must be 19 years and older. Cost $5.00 each.
