She Comes to Grief in Last Night’s Gale.

Narrow Escape of the Crew

Shoal Harbour, This afternoon.

The schooner Louise, formerly mail packet between this and Hearts Content, owned by Edmund Seward of Fox Harbor, was driven ashore at Red Beach Head during last night’s gale. The crew had the greatest difficulty in getting ashore. She is now full of water, but otherwise not much damaged, and efforts will be made to float her again.
