Page 58 – In Memoriam
In memory of Mrs. Annie Barfett of Long Beach who died February 20, 1960
When someone speaks your name to me,
It’s hard to hold back tears,
Memories of happy days together
Will always linger through the years.
It’s seven years since you left us
It seems to be much longer
Thoughts of you are always with us
And each day a little stronger.
The Lord wanted you and called you home
Though that day I wasn’t there,
I’ll always remember your last words to me
“May God bless you, my dear.”
Inserted by grand-daughter, Marie Whalen of Caplin Cove.
