- We all realize that this community is bounded by hill on both sides and we agree that care must be exercised when motoring over the roads especially in winter. We have a worse problem as the main road runs quite close to the houses and the children must be constantly watched in order to prevent accidents. Despite numerous warnings, oil trucks making deliveries farther down Random Island, have been known to break the speed limit. Again we plead, please be careful or we’ll have to resort to the proper authorities for help.

He can be seen around the community enjoying it but he says it is sad to see the horse and sleigh out of style and no longer in use. He’s not complaining as he goes into the woods on a ski-doo. The only thing wrong with it is that it tends to make people a little bit lazy and cold. He says if he wants an enjoyable ride, walk a little and do some work along the way in order to stay warm and enjoy the ride better. Uncle George, as he is usually called, is 80 years old.
