Miss Blanche Stringer of Caplin Cove went to St. John’s on Monday to enter the Sanatorum for treatment. May you soon be restored to good health again Blanche.
Eric Seward of Gooseberry Cove, who has been ill for a long time is now improving.
The following men have returned to Hillview from Terra Nova where they spent the winter logging: George Critch, James Critch and Eli Drodge.
Frank Benson who is employed at Bishop’s Falls with the Newfoundland Railway spent the holiday with his family at Hillview.
Levi Frost who has been spending his three week vacation with his family at Hillview, has returned to duty.
Levi is a brakeman on the Newfoundland Railway.
John Moores who is with the Educational Board, visited Hillview and Queen’s Cove during the past week showing educational films in the school.
W.J. Frost, Hillview, who had been on a business trip to St. John’s returned during the week.
Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Button who had been spending the week in St. John’s returned by Monday night’s train.
Andrew Butt has returned from a business trip to St. John’s
