Queen’s Cove Notes
Blueberries Now In Season
The blueberry season has arrived and all collecting agents have been notified to commence collecting. The price of 30c. gallon which is discouraging to the picker will cause a lot less to be collected than last year. Should the price be about 50 cents per gallon no doubt much money will be made on this valuable commodity of fruit. Our people here have to go from two to three miles to secure them and owing to the hard work that would be encountered and the high price of goods one has to purchase they consider that 30c. per gallon is not worth the trouble and work.

Obituaries
On August 9, there passed away almost suddenly at North West Brook, Mr. Vokey, at the age of 78.
