Page 61 – In Memoriam
In fond and loving memory of a dear brother Nathan Martin who was accidently killed November 6, 1965.
Two years have passed dear brother
Since you were called away
How well do we remember that sad and weary day.
We often sit and think of you.
The things you used to say
We wonder why you had to die
Without a chance to say goodbye.
Ever remembered by sister Lena, brother-in-law Arthur and family, Queen’s Cove.
Page 62 – In Memoriam
In memory of sister Mrs. Claribel Dodge who was accidently killed December 7th, 1965.
Today our thoughts they all go back
To just two years ago
When all our smiles were turned to tears
By a sad and bitter blow.
It is hard for us to realize
That we meet on earth no more
But we trust to meet in heaven above
When our work on earth is o’er.
Ever remembered by brother Baxter King and family, Little Heart’s Ease.
_____________
In loving memory of our daughter Clarabelle Dodge who was accidently killed December 7, 1965, age 30.
Two sad and lonely years have passed
Since my great sorrow fell
The shock that I received that day
No one can ever tell.
God gave me strength to meet it
And courage to bear the blow,
But what it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
Ever remembered by Mother and Father, Mr. and Mrs. Bert King, Little Heart’s Ease.
________________
In memory of a dear Aunt Clarabelle Dodge who was accidently killed December 7, 1965
This month comes back with sad regret,
It brings back a day we won’t ever forget.
You fell asleep without goodbye
But our memories of you will never die.
We miss you more than anyone knows,
As each day passes our emptiness grows;
The tears we shed we’ll wipe away
But this ache in our hearts will always stay.
You left so suddenly, your thoughts unknown
But you left us memories
We are proud to own.
Ever remembered by nieces Joyce and Gloria and nephew Harold.
